Today's presentations reinforce our CDA knowledge. Among the first characteristics is how language is a social practice and it does not function by itself without that factor. Through these social factors and the interventions of the entertainment media, the different inequalities and injustices posed in society are analyzed. By doing different studies, they understood that the standardized theories of language imposed cover forms of power, in addition to that ideology and forms of power help to maintain that social structure. When it comes to analyzing, linguistic concepts must be unstructured plus the use of the historical context for a better interpretation. And what is understood is that social discourse and its practices reproduces those same relationships of power and class. There is a connection between discourse and social structures because the first has effects on the second, and the second contributes to the achievement of maintaining that social part but can also change it, therefore, discourse sees the importance in power relations and power struggle since this control is produced through the agents of social institutions.
